Many osCommerce Experts will showcase a portfolio of completed osCommerce sites. ozEworks has gone one step further to reveal our work as it progresses through its development lifecycle.

Our customers always get to watch their site get developed and provide feedback thru the entire life-cycle thereby ensuring that the end result meets their expectations. Some of those sites you will see here under the various tabs above. So why not take a look?

This page lists the sites that are undergoing User Acceptance Tests. If your site is here then that means it is time for you to test the site.

Before you jump in and start testing, it is good idea to do some planning. Things you need to think about are:

Design

Customer Scenarios such as creating an account, shopping, paying using different methods, shipping using different methods, updating your account, shipping to alternative address, use of Gift Vouchers and Coupons

Admin Scenarios such as Adding Categories, Adding Products, Checking Orders, Processing Gift Vouchers and Coupons, Sending out Emails and Newsletters.

Special Processing - have you asked us to create some special functions for you? Then you'll need to work out ways to test we've done it right.

Exceptions Processing - do you need to test some special scenarios which do not follow standard business practice?

Testing can take 2-3 days and it is best you plan it in methodical way so it runs smoothly. If you find errors then note them down. If they do not stop you continuing your tests then continue until you are completed. Once completed, send all your errors and queries to us. We will then fix them and you can retest the areas required.

One easy way to records errors is to create an email and save it as a draft. You can add your comments and errors to it as you go along. Remember to be specific about what is occuring. We need to know which customer, which order, what error message. Giving us the URL is great. Comments like "it does not work" are of no use to us and we are only going to answer back with a "what does not work?". To save everyone time, be as explicit as possible.
